Happy New Year everyone! I trust that you all are doing well thus far. Happy to announce that this is the final post in this particular series. There are many aspects that are too many to be said here but I will touch on just a few things to bring the curtains down.
Here is the link for part 2 if you need a refresher. https://shewritesblog876.wixsite.com/my-site/post/how-i-met-my-husband-part-2
Remember when I said in the previous post that I had a YouTube Channel? Well yes, I had one. However, due to me getting engaged things were a bit hectic. So I had to put it on a pause. I said a pause because I intend to start it again one day.
Enough of that, I am now engaged. What to do now? Besides being left-handed.
I was now left to plan a whole wedding! Luckily my Husband was all in with me, He helped here, there and everywhere!
We got married 7 months after.
We knew what we wanted and things were simple after that.
Before I even met my husband, I created a Pinterest Board Called, "My Future Special Day" https://www.pinterest.com/Nickiisweetz/my-future-special-day/
On that board I would pin things I would like for my wedding day when I got married. I chose the color scheme and everything.
I am tremendously blessed because that same color scheme was what my husband had hoped for on His big day as well.
I took that as another sign from God.
But color choices were simple. It's the venue, honeymoon and Guest List that were a struggle.
On to Venue choosing, we didn't want anything that would burden us afterwards.
So, we went shopping around and found this nice place with a beautiful lawn. It is up to you if you want your ceremony to be done in a church.
Another thing we considered is the guest amount. We were really never going to burden ourselves with a huge guest list. Everyone had to understand. For our families, we had to choose one person from each household. It is what it is. All the necessary things we did ensured us for our wonderful Honeymoon.
Fun fact, I got my dress from Amazon. I really took a chance with it.
My Bridesmaids dresses were handmade.
If you would like to know more you can email me with questions such as: Venue, Food, Music, etc. ( shewritesblog876@gmail.com ) or if you know me personally; you know what to do.
The wedding day went well, however; there were some things that were not supposed to be, but the day went on. Just like in life, things will not always work out the way you would hope, but just continue pressing along.
I truly would do it all over again.
It taught me some amount of patience and gratitude.
Once you have faith that things will work out, God will work on your behalf.
January 8th will be our second anniversary.
It feels like 10 years already, but they say that time flies when you are with your best friend!
Love is truly a beautiful thing and I am happy to be the wife of an amazing man.
Happy Anniversary to us!
